Return Policy

At Rat Trap Bench, we take hygiene and safety seriously. Because our products are designed for rodent control and may come into contact with animals, waste, and pathogens, we cannot accept returns of used benches.

This policy complies with US and Canadian consumer laws.

1. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer (not a business), you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day you receive the product.

However, this right does NOT apply if the product has been unsealed, installed, or used – for hygiene and health protection reasons.

2. When can you return?

You may only return a bench if:

- It is still in its original, unopened packaging

- It has never been installed or used

- All seals and protective films are intact

In that case, we will refund the purchase price (excluding shipping costs). You pay for return shipping

3. How to cancel

Email us at info@rattrapbench.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number and "CANCELLATION" in the subject line.

We will send you a return address. You must return the product within 14 days of cancelling.

4. Defective products (warranty)

If your bench arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we will replace it or refund you – no return needed if defect is clear from photos.

5. Service contracts

Monthly service contracts can be cancelled with 30 days written notice. No refund for partial months.

6. Business purchases

If you buy as a business (e.g., city, park, company), the 14-day withdrawal right does NOT apply. All sales are final unless the product is defective.

7. Exceptions – no refunds for:

- Used benches (any installation or outdoor exposure)

- Benches damaged by misuse, modification, or improper installation

- Benches gnawed by rats (this means the product worked as designed)
